We had a full echocardiogram done for the baby this week and came out with great news - she has a perfectly healthy, beautiful looking heart. (I have a bicuspid aortic valve which they think is genetic or may increase chances of other congenital defects... but I've heard different things from 4 different doctors now so who really knows?) We were really trying not to worry about it, but man oh man, this was quite the relief!
Definitely have a little belly going on now :) But aside from some nerve pain in my lower back, I'm still feeling great. I feel really lucky that I've had such an easy pregnancy so far. It's hard to believe we are already two-thirds of the way there.
Also got a few more photos during our visit. The first is a 3D ultrasound... amazing what technology can do.... We tried to get a full view of her face, but she was sucking her little thumb again :) You can see both hands in front of her face, one curled under the other. This will probably be the last ultrasound, so I guess we'll have to wait until she gets here to see what she looks like. Can't wait!!!
